Bleek Vision Apps
This policy covers the following apps published by Bleek Vision LLC:
All four are designed with privacy as a core principle. Bleek Vision LLC does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. FOCUS//DECK, UNCONTAINED, and Go, Bobby, Go! Road Trip collect no data and show Data Not Collected on their App Store privacy labels. MadWeather is the exception. It is free with ads and uses Google services, so it does collect some data. The only data that leaves MadWeather for advertising goes through Google's ad software. Its section below explains what, why, and who receives it.
Our Commitment
FOCUS//DECK, UNCONTAINED, and Go, Bobby, Go! Road Trip are built only on Apple's own frameworks. They contain no third-party SDKs, analytics, crash reporters, or ad networks, and their data stays on your device or with Apple. MadWeather is the one exception: it includes Google's advertising and analytics software, and newer versions use Google's Firebase to sign you in. For every app, Bleek Vision LLC names each outside service that receives your data and explains what it receives.
MadWeather
MadWeather is free and supported by ads. Bleek Vision LLC does not run its own servers for MadWeather. The app sends data directly to Apple, Google, IQAir, and the MTA, as described below. We can see the reports Google prepares from the app's analytics and ad data, and, in versions with Firebase sign-in, the list of accounts. This section describes MadWeather 8.2 and notes where newer versions differ.
Location. If you allow it, MadWeather reads your approximate location, accurate to about a kilometer, only while you are using the app or asking Siri for the weather. It sends that location to Apple WeatherKit for your forecast, to Apple's map services to name your borough and neighborhood, and to IQAir for your air quality reading. Neither the app nor Bleek Vision LLC keeps a history of where you have been. The app saves only the latest weather reading on your device so its widgets can show it. You can turn off location access at any time in iOS Settings.
Subway status. To show service changes, the app downloads the MTA's public subway alerts feed. That request carries nothing about you beyond what every internet request carries, such as your IP address.
Ads (Google AdMob). Unless you buy MadWeather Ad-Free, the app shows banner and full-screen ads served by Google AdMob. To serve them, Google's software in the app collects:
- your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your general location
- device identifiers. MadWeather never asks for permission to track you, so Google cannot read your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) through MadWeather. Google may use other identifiers that are limited to this app or to apps from the same developer.
- the ads you see and tap, and how you interact with the app
- crash and performance information about the ad software
Google uses this information to choose and show ads, limit repeats, measure how ads perform, and prevent fraud, as described in how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Because MadWeather never asks for tracking permission, the App Store does not allow the app, or the ad software inside it, to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Bleek Vision LLC does not choose individual ads and does not receive information about you from them. We see only Google's totals, such as how many ads were shown.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent using Google's consent form, and Google follows the choice you make. To change your choice later, delete and reinstall the app and the form will appear again, or email us.
Ad-Free. MadWeather Ad-Free is a one-time in-app purchase. Once you own it, the app shows no ads and never starts Google's ad software. Apple processes the purchase, and Bleek Vision LLC never sees your payment details or Apple Account.
Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase). MadWeather uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used, so we can see which features matter and where the app breaks. It records app opens, sessions, screens viewed, in-app purchases (product and price), and basic device information such as model, iOS version, app version, and language. Google ties this data to a random app-instance ID, not to your name, email, or account, and estimates your general location from your IP address. It does not use your device's location services. Google deletes event-level analytics data after no more than 14 months.
Your profile. You can use MadWeather as a guest. If you fill in your profile, such as your name, city, home borough, favorite subway lines, birthday month and day (for a birthday greeting), or veteran status (for a Veterans Day greeting), it is stored on your device and in your own iCloud account so it follows you to your other devices. Bleek Vision LLC cannot see it. In MadWeather 8.2, Sign in with Apple happens entirely on your device. Apple shares your name and email address, or a private relay address if you choose Hide My Email, and the app keeps them in that same profile and sends them nowhere else.
Accounts with Firebase (versions after 8.2). Newer versions of MadWeather create a real account when you sign in with Apple or Google, using Firebase Authentication, a Google service. The app sends the sign-in token from Apple or Google to Firebase, which checks it and stores your account: a random account ID, your email address or Apple relay address, your name if Apple or Google provides it, the sign-in method you used, and, for Google, a link to your profile photo. Firebase also receives basic technical details about your device, such as its model, iOS version, and app version, which it does not link to your account. Bleek Vision LLC uses the account only to sign you in. Your analytics and ad data are not linked to it.
Deleting your data. Use Delete Account in Settings (Erase My Data if you use the app as a guest) to permanently remove your profile and settings from your device and your iCloud account. In versions with Firebase sign-in, this also deletes your Firebase account. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. If you used Sign in with Apple, you can also stop using it with MadWeather in your Apple Account settings. Analytics and ad data are tied to random identifiers rather than to you, so we usually cannot find one person's records, but email us and we will do what we can.
Other Apple services. Achievements go to Apple Game Center if you are signed in to it. Notifications are scheduled on your device, and there is no push server. Widgets and Control Center use only data already on your device, and Siri requests are handled by Apple.
Services that receive data from MadWeather:
- Apple: WeatherKit, Maps, iCloud, Game Center, the App Store, and Sign in with Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Google: AdMob and its consent form, Google Analytics for Firebase, and, in versions after 8.2, Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- IQAir: air quality, which receives your approximate location. See IQAir's Privacy Policy.
- The MTA: the public subway alerts feed, which receives no information about you beyond the request itself.
Security and where data is stored. All of MadWeather's network traffic is encrypted. Google stores ads, analytics, and account data in the United States and other countries where it operates. Bleek Vision LLC uses reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.
Children. MadWeather is not directed to children under 13, and Bleek Vision LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the app to give us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights. You can turn off location access, use the app as a guest, buy Ad-Free to remove the ads and Google's ad software, and delete your data in Settings at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email malik@bleekvision.com. We will respond within 30 days.
FOCUS//DECK
FOCUS//DECK collects no data. Your sessions, tasks, goals, parked thoughts, and settings are stored only on your device, and Bleek Vision LLC runs no servers for the app. Deleting the app removes all of it.
FOCUS//DECK is a paid app with no in-app purchases. Apple handles the purchase through the App Store. We receive only Apple's aggregate sales reports and never see your payment details or Apple ID.
Optional features use Apple frameworks that keep their data on your device:
- Shields Up (Screen Time): if you grant Screen Time access, the apps you allow or block are managed by Apple's Screen Time framework. The app sees them only as opaque tokens. It cannot tell which apps they are or how you use them, and your selection never leaves your device.
- Red Alert: during a session, the app notices when you leave it and whether your screen is locked. It never sees which app you switched to.
- Calendar (FOCUS//DECK 2.1 and later): if you link your calendar, the app reads today's events on your iPhone to show your agenda and fit focus sessions around them. Your calendar is never uploaded, shared, or changed.
- Notifications: session alerts and goal check-ins are scheduled on your device. There is no push server.
- Widgets, Live Activities, Siri, and Shortcuts: your timer and streak are shared only with the app's own widgets on your device. Siri and Shortcuts requests are handled by Apple.
- Game Center (optional): achievements are handled by Apple under your Game Center settings.
- Tilt effects and share cards: motion readings move the background as you tilt your phone and are never stored. Share cards are made on your device and leave it only if you choose to share them.
FOCUS//DECK does not use your location, camera, microphone, or contacts, and it contains no analytics or advertising software. AirPods noise control works only through a Shortcut you build with Apple's own action. The app never controls your audio.
UNCONTAINED
UNCONTAINED collects no personal data whatsoever. Puzzle progress is stored via Apple Game Center and iCloud, both governed by Apple's privacy policy. Bleek Vision LLC has no access to this data.
Go, Bobby, Go! Road Trip
Go, Bobby, Go! Road Trip is made for kids and collects no data at all. Nothing you or your child does in the app is sent to Bleek Vision LLC or to anyone else: the app has no network features, no accounts, no ads, no in-app purchases, and no third-party analytics or advertising software.
The app asks for two optional permissions, both used only on the device. Location (while using the app) is read solely to learn how fast the car is moving so that Bobby runs at the same pace; positions are never stored, logged, or transmitted. The camera, in the optional AR mode, shows the road outside the window behind the game; frames are displayed live and never recorded or saved. Declining either permission leaves the game fully playable on its illustrated scenes.
What stays on your device: your settings, the stickers your child has earned, the best score, and the total miles ridden. Deleting the app removes all of it. Grown-up settings sit behind a parental gate.
Children's privacy: the app is directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from anyone, including children under 13, in line with COPPA and Apple's Kids Category requirements. Questions can go to malik@bleekvision.com.

The Gentleman's Kitchen (TGK) iOS app
Bleek Vision LLC designs, builds, and operates the TGK iOS membership app for The Gentleman's Kitchen, a Caribbean steakhouse in Brooklyn. The restaurant is the venue served by the app; Bleek Vision LLC operates the app itself. The terms below govern data the app collects. The restaurant's own data practices for its physical, in-room operations are governed separately by The Gentleman's Kitchen.
What the app collects
- Contact information: name, email, optional phone, provided when a member creates an account
- App-side content: saved preferences (seating, dietary restrictions, allergies), reservation history, points balance and transaction history
- Identifiers: an internal user ID (a random UUID we generate, not tied to Apple ID or email in a way visible to third parties), and — if the member grants notification permission — an Apple Push Notification token
- Usage data: which screens are visited, which menu items are interacted with, WiFi check-in events, points earned or redeemed
- Crash diagnostics: anonymized crash reports and performance traces, for detecting and fixing bugs
What the app does NOT collect
- We do not track members across other apps or websites
- We do not sell member data
- We do not collect payment-card numbers
- We do not access location outside the venue's WiFi network — check-in is triggered by WiFi connection, not by GPS
- We do not access contacts, calendar, camera roll, or messages
Third-party services the app uses
Supabase (database and authentication), Sentry (crash and performance monitoring, with personal-identifier scrubbing enabled and screenshot / view-hierarchy capture disabled at source), Sevenrooms (the venue's reservation platform, which processes booking details), and Apple's push notification service (only if the member grants permission). No advertising SDKs. No general-purpose analytics SDKs.
Data retention and deletion
A member's profile and history persist until the member deletes their account via Profile → Delete Account inside the app. On deletion, we permanently erase the profile, points, reservations, and preferences within 30 days.

- Usage data: pages visited and actions taken within the app, used to detect bugs and improve the product
What we do not collect
- We do not sell your data
- We do not use advertising SDKs or track you across other websites
- We do not collect payment-card numbers — billing is handled by our payment processor
Third-party services

MomKnows! Privacy Policy
Summary
MomKnows! collects no analytics, crash reports, or account information and integrates no third-party SDKs. All content stays on your device. Apple handles purchases independently — Bleek Vision LLC does not observe transaction details.
Who We Are
MomKnows! is published by Bleek Vision LLC, built and operated by Shabaka Malik Banks.
What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to the MomKnows! iOS application (iOS 17+) distributed through the Apple App Store. It does not cover Apple's own services, which are governed by Apple's separate privacy policy.
What We Do Not Collect
The app does not collect or transmit:
- Personal information (names, emails, addresses)
- Account credentials or device identifiers
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Location data or system information
- Any outbound network traffic
The App Store privacy label shows Data Not Collected across all categories. The only exception: Apple's StoreKit processes purchases; Bleek Vision LLC receives only anonymized aggregate sales reports.
What the App Stores on Your Device
Content is stored locally using:
- SwiftData — structured content (family members, answers, stories)
- iOS Keychain — sensitive fields such as insurance numbers, bound to your device without iCloud sync
All data persists while the app is installed. Deleting the app removes all locally stored content.
Permissions Requested
The app requests permissions only when needed:
- Face ID / Touch ID — biometric unlock via LocalAuthentication framework
- Microphone — audio recording and dictation
- Speech Recognition — on-device only, no cloud fallback
- Camera — photo and video capture
- Photo Library — existing media attachment
Encryption and On-Device Security
All cryptography uses Apple frameworks:
- Encrypted backups use AES-256-GCM via Apple's CryptoKit framework
- Key derivation uses PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 with 100,000 iterations
- Keychain items are device-bound
- Biometric data never leaves Secure Enclave
Backups You Create
You create encrypted backup files with a passphrase of your choosing. The passphrase is never stored, transmitted, or recoverable by Bleek Vision LLC. Loss of the passphrase means permanent inaccessibility. Export destinations — iCloud Drive, USB, etc. — are your choice.
Apple's Role
Apple delivers the app and processes purchases through StoreKit. Your relationship with Apple is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this one.
Children
The app is rated 17+ and is not directed to children under 13. Since no data transmits to Bleek Vision LLC, no child data exists on our servers. Delete the app to remove all locally stored content.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA, you have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. Since Bleek Vision LLC holds no personal data about you:
- Access: Open the app
- Correct: Edit content within the app
- Delete: Remove entries or uninstall the app
- Portability: Use export features (PDF, Notes, encrypted backup)
Email malik@bleekvision.com to assert any right. We will respond within 30 days. Bleek Vision LLC does not hold a Data Protection Officer position.
Changes to This Policy
Updates will be posted at this URL with new effective dates. Material changes will be announced prominently in-app and on this page.
