YOU HAVE BEEN
OBSERVED.

A running app told as a spy thriller. You get a briefing before each run. A debrief when you finish. The story moves when you do — a block builds to 5.5 kilometres, mission by mission.

"Not your name. Your routes. The same streets at the same hours, in weather most people stay in for."

FILE 01 · HOW A RUN WORKS

EVERY RUN IS A MISSION.

You get a briefing before you head out: what the mission is, how far, what you're listening for. You run. When you finish, the Archivist debriefs you — what happened out there, what it means, what comes next.

A kilometre build starts at 2 km and reaches 5.5 km across nine cells. A 14-minute mile completes the mission exactly like a 7. The treadmill counts. Rest days count. Apple Health is optional.

FILE 02 · GETTING STARTED

IT STARTS WITH A PACKAGE.

You download the app and a package arrives: your file number, your sector, your first mission. The Archivist doesn't explain herself, but she tells you exactly what to do.

The setup takes two minutes. Sign in with Apple is available but optional. You don't need an account to run your first mission.

Operation 001 opens with nine cells across three acts. The first three missions are free.

FILE 03 · YOUR HANDLERS

TWO VOICES IN YOUR EAR.

You run with the Archivist on the line. Vector handles logistics. Neither of them tells you everything. They agree on one thing: that you come back.

FILE 04 · ALLEGIANCES

WHERE DO YOUR SYMPATHIES LIE?

Three factions operate in Vienna. The Ninth keeps the record. The Doctrine keeps the fire. The Network keeps the silence. You don't have to pick. But they'll notice either way.

CIPHER-9

The Ninth keeps the record, keeps the line, and keeps its nerve. It has operated since 1961 and asks only one thing in return: that you come back.

THE CINDER DOCTRINE

The Doctrine believes the record is the problem. It doesn't destroy the archive. It replaces it. The Ninth doesn't punish that. It remembers it.

THE UMBRA NETWORK

The Network doesn't keep a record. It doesn't need to. It already knows. Be careful who you say that to. Some of them are already listening.

FILE 05 · PROTOCOL

NO AGENT LEFT BEHIND.

No leaderboards. No pace gates. A 14-minute mile completes the mission exactly like a 7. The treadmill counts. Rest days count. There is no shame in walking the route — the Archivist only cares that you come back.

Your runs stay on your device. Apple Health is available but never required. Nothing leaves your phone without your permission.

"The Ninth cares that you came back."
